What others are saying

  1. 2 out of 5 How do you turn off the mic?

I am trying to use this webcam for video conferencing, but the mic is too faint. How can I turn it off so I can use the mic on my computer? Also, is there a way to zoom out?

    Thanks,
    Jessie

  3. Hi Kyle,

The webcam is plug and play and doesn’t have a manufacturer driver, so what you need to do is to reinstall or update the driver in Windows 10. There are two ways to do it:
    1. Reinstall the driver: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725782(v=ws.11).aspx (This guide is for Windows 7, but may work on Windows 10 as well)
    2. Update the driver: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/ad5a063e-5f57-c715-2566-b983195752c1/update-drivers-in-windows-10

Please let us know if there’s any other question.

The LED of the webcam cannot be turned off. If you find these lights bothering, you can unplug the webcam when you are not using it.

  9. Hi Steve,

The camera doesn’t come with built-in zoom in and zoom out features, and we don’t have software for this. You may want to look for a third-party software, or configure the video chatting software you use to calibrate the camera.

  10. Question

I’m using this camera for Hangouts video conferences. How do I adjust the zoom setting, it’s way too zoomed in. Is there any software for this?

  12. Hi there,

The webcam is plug & play, so it does not require a manufacturer driver from us. The driver you refered to should be a universal driver from the operating system, which applies to all plug & play webcams. If you find this driver is not working, please try the follow:
    1. Follow this guide to troubleshoot: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/ad5a063e-5f57-c715-2566-b983195752c1/update-drivers-in-windows-10
    2. Try to use the webcam on a different computer to see if the problem still exist
    3. If none of the above works, please contact [email protected] for further support.
