Is it equipped with a Texas Instruments Thunderbolt 3 Controller? I heard they do not work with MacBook Pro 2016

Technically this hub is a USB 3.1 device rather than a Thunderbolt 3 device, and it does not equipped with a Texas Instruments Thunderbolt 3 Controller, so it should be compatible with the MacBook Pro 2016.
